You know the feeling. You need to send an email by 9:30am.
It's 9:15. Your coffee is getting cold. Your cursor is blinking at you like it's personally mocking everything you stand for. You've typed "Hello" and deleted it four times. You briefly considered faking a power outage. You've reorganized your desk, checked your phone twice, and somehow ended up reading a Wikipedia article about the history of staplers.
And the clock? Oh, the clock is absolutely loving this. 9:18. 9:19. Tick. Tick. Tick.
You now have eleven minutes to write an email that needs to sound professional, persuasive, and like you definitely did not spend the last fifteen minutes staring into the void questioning your entire career as a business owner.
Here's the dirty little secret nobody talks about: even the best writers hit walls. It happens to everyone. The blank screen doesn't discriminate. It will humble a seasoned pro just as quickly as it will humble someone who just learned what a subject line is.
But what if you didn't have to white-knuckle your way through every single email anymore?

Meet BOB - Your assistant who helps you send one email a day and start getting sales without even thinking about it.

Meet BOB - Your assistant who helps you send one email a day and start getting sales without even thinking about it.
BOB is built specifically for peope like you who need to produce sharp, compelling, and conversion-driven emails without losing their minds in the process. Think of BOB as that incredibly talented colleague who never panics, never gets writer's block, and absolutely never wastes twenty minutes reading about staplers.
Whether you're crafting a cold outreach, a nurture sequence, or a campaign that needs to hit just right, BOB helps you get from blank screen to brilliant copy faster than your coffee can go cold.
So next time 9:15 rolls around and the cursor starts blinking at you with that smug little attitude, let BOB handle it.
Want to know more? I don't blame you.
My name is Aidan Bruhl, and I have been running my own businesses for over 30 years. Construction (mostly), web design, Etsy stores selling steampunk lamps and pens, MLM — you name it, I've probably done it. Thirty years is a long enough to watch trends come and go, long enough to survive fax machines, MySpace, and whatever that NFT thing was all about. But through every single twist, turn, and complete business catastrophe, one thing has remained the undisputed champion of growing a business.
Email.
Not social media. Not flashy ads. You're probably right now building your entire audience on Instagram. On Facebook. On TikTok. On Amazon. On platforms you do not own, do not control, and cannot negotiate with when they decide to change the rules on a random Tuesday afternoon with zero warning and zero apology.
You've got 50,000 followers? Wonderful. Facebook doesn't care. They'll throttle your reach, bury your posts, or simply decide that your content now violates some vague new community guideline that didn't exist last week. You've got 120,000 followers on TikTok? Fantastic. One congressional hearing and that entire platform disappears faster than an ice-pop in the Sahara.
Here is the uncomfortable truth though. Most people write terrible emails. I know because I have received thousands of them over my career, and I have written a few disasters myself. You know the ones. The emails that start with "I hope this finds you well" as if the email is some kind of carrier pigeon on a wellness journey. The ones that ramble on for fourteen paragraphs before getting to the point. The ones that somehow manage to be both too long AND say absolutely nothing.
Or even worse, you're not writing emails at all. You have a list, but you don’t use it because writing feels hard. BOB fixes that.
BOB is your email writing assistant, built specifically for business owners who want to produce sharp, compelling, and conversion-driven emails without staring at a blinking cursor for three hours questioning their life choices.
With BOB, email truly becomes easy. Whether you are crafting a welcome sequence, a sales campaign, or a follow-up that actually gets a response, BOB is right there beside you handling the heavy lifting.
And you can have BOB help you for FREE for 14 days. So instead of me selling to you, just try him out and let BOB sell himself to you.
Need some proof before you commit? I get it. This page you're reading right now? Written by BOB! And here are some more examples (not edited in any way, I promise):
Brand Voice: Email List Building System
Prompt: Tell me about the Post-It Note...
Creativity: Creative
Tone: Funny
Subject: NASA almost used the wrong glue. Here's what that has to do with your email list.
In 1968, a 3M scientist named Dr. Spencer Silver accidentally invented something useless.
He was trying to create a super-strong adhesive. What he got instead was a weak, pressure-sensitive glue that stuck to things gently — and could be peeled off without leaving a mark.
It wasn't what anyone asked for. It wasn't what the market wanted. By every conventional measure, it was a failure.
So 3M shelved it.
But Silver didn't. For six years, he quietly walked the halls of 3M, showing colleagues this strange, stubborn little adhesive that refused to be permanent. He gave seminars. He made his case. He believed in something he couldn't yet explain the use for.
Nobody listened.
Then in 1974, a colleague named Art Fry sat in church, frustrated that his hymnal bookmarks kept falling out. He remembered Silver's weird glue. He pressed a strip of it onto a piece of paper, stuck it to a page, and peeled it off cleanly.
The Post-it Note was born in a church pew.
And even then — even then — 3M almost killed it twice before it became one of the best-selling office products in human history.
Here's what strikes me about this story.
The adhesive was never the problem. It existed. It worked. It was genuinely valuable. The problem was that for six years, it had no system to deliver it to the right surface.
I think about this constantly when I talk to copywriters, marketers, and business owners who are sitting on real expertise — offers that work, knowledge that transforms, ideas that deserve an audience — and yet somehow, almost none of it is reaching the people who need it most.
They have the adhesive. They're missing the surface.
Most people assume the problem is their idea. That it needs to be sharper, smarter, more original. So they keep refining it in private, walking the halls of their own mind, giving internal seminars to nobody.
But the idea was never the bottleneck.
Distribution was.
An email list is not a glamorous thing. It doesn't have the seductive pull of a viral post or the dopamine hit of a trending reel. But it is the only platform where you control the surface — where your message lands directly, personally, and without an algorithm deciding whether you deserve to be seen today.
That's exactly what the Email List Building System is designed to do. Not help you invent something new. Help you finally deliver what you already have to the people who are already waiting for it.
Your idea isn't the problem. Your distribution is.
Let's fix that.

The Fjords Are Calling — And Something Ancient Is Answering
Step into a world where betrayal cuts deeper than any blade, and the darkness beneath the ice has finally awakened.
You've Been Searching for This
You know the feeling. You finish a book, close the cover, and it's... fine. Competent. Forgettable.
You've been burned before. Flat protagonists. Worlds that never quite breathe. Stakes that never truly land. You've read stories that promised epic adventure and delivered something closer to a lukewarm afternoon.
You deserve better than that. And somewhere deep down, you already know it.
The Weight of a World That Won't Let You Go
Here's what's been missing: a story that doesn't just entertain you — it moves you.
Not a hero who is simply brave, but one who has earned every scar and still chooses to stand. Not a villain who is simply evil, but a hunger so ancient and so cold that it makes the very air feel wrong. Not a world that serves as backdrop, but one that breathes and groans under the weight of its own darkness.
You've been searching through shelves and scroll bars for that rare thing — a fantasy that grips you by the collar in the first chapter and doesn't let go until the final line. A story that has something to say about courage and cynicism, about what it costs to hope when hope has cost you everything before.
That story exists. And it begins in the Shadowed Fjords of Skallagrim.
Introducing: Axe of the Ice-Wyrm
A Fantasy Adventure Novel by Aidan Bruhl
Freya Thorsdottir is not your typical hero.
She is hardened, haunted, and deliberate in her decision to feel as little as possible. She leads her band of raiders not with speeches about glory, but with the quiet authority of someone who has survived when others have not — and carries the weight of that survival every single day.
What begins as a contract raid for coin quickly unravels into something far more dangerous than any battlefield she has ever walked. Jarl Thorgil, drunk on ambition and blind to consequence, has stirred something beneath the ice that was never meant to wake. The Ice-Wyrm rises — not merely as a creature, but as a corruption. A slow, creeping cold that turns the land against itself and whispers to the darkest corners of the human soul.
Freya and her crew are caught between a ruthless warlord who will burn the world to rule its ashes, and a primordial evil that may not leave anything worth ruling. To survive, they must forge alliances with people they do not trust, make sacrifices they cannot take back, and face a question that cuts deeper than any blade:
Can a warrior who has long abandoned hope pick up that axe one more time — not for coin, not for survival, but for something greater?
What This Story Will Give You
A protagonist worth following into the dark. Freya is not perfect, and that is precisely why she is extraordinary. Her journey from cynicism to conviction is written with the kind of honesty that makes a fictional character feel like someone you've actually known.
World-building that earns its weight. Skallagrim is brutal, beautiful, and entirely its own. The fjords, the cold, the culture of the raiders — every detail is rendered with care, and the world feels lived-in rather than constructed.
Stakes that are genuinely felt. When the Ice-Wyrm's influence spreads, the threat is not abstract. It is visceral, creeping, and deeply unsettling in the way that only the best fantasy villains manage to be.
An ensemble that surprises you. The crew of raiders surrounding Freya are not background noise. They carry their own histories, their own loyalties, and their own reasons for standing — or not standing — when it matters most.
A story about more than survival. Underneath the raids and the monsters and the political treachery, this is a novel about what it means to let yourself care again after the world has given you every reason not to.
Pacing that respects your time. No chapter exists simply to fill space. Every scene moves, reveals, or deepens — and the momentum builds toward a conclusion that earns every emotion it asks you to feel.
What Readers Are Saying
"I read the first chapter to see if it was worth my time. I finished the book at 2 in the morning because I could not put it down. Freya is the kind of character I didn't know I was waiting for — complicated, fierce, and achingly human beneath all that armor. Aidan Bruhl has built something genuinely special here." — Marcus T., Fantasy Reader & Longtime Genre Enthusiast
"The Ice-Wyrm itself is terrifying in the way the best fantasy monsters are — not just physically, but philosophically. What it represents, what it does to the people around it, the slow creep of its influence across Skallagrim — it made my skin crawl in the best possible way. This is the kind of book I'll be recommending for years." — Sienna R., Sword-and-Sorcery Fiction Fan
"I've read a lot of Viking-inspired fantasy, and most of it leans heavily on the aesthetic without doing the deeper work. Axe of the Ice-Wyrm is different. The world feels authentic, the characters feel real, and the emotional core of the story — Freya's arc specifically — hit me somewhere I wasn't expecting. Beautifully written and absolutely worth every penny." — Daniel M., Epic Fantasy Enthusiast

Prompt: I moved from the UK to the US
Hook: Contrarian Take (challenges popular advice or a widely accepted belief)
Creativity: Creative
Tone: Funny
Subject: "They told me Americans don't read long emails. They were wrong."
Let me tell you about a man named David Abbott.
If you've never heard of him, that's almost the point.
In 1970s London, Abbott was quietly becoming one of the greatest copywriters who ever lived. While American ad agencies were screaming for shorter copy, punchier headlines, and more white space — Abbott was writing essays.
Full-page newspaper ads. Dense paragraphs. Long, winding, beautifully constructed arguments for why you should buy a Volvo, or subscribe to The Economist, or switch your bank.
His colleagues thought he was mad.
"Nobody reads that much," they said.
"You'll lose them in the first paragraph," they warned.
"Americans especially — they have the attention span of a golden retriever at a squirrel convention."
Abbott smiled, nodded politely, and kept writing long copy.
His ads won every award imaginable. His clients made fortunes. And the "nobody reads long copy" crowd? They're still saying it today — mostly on LinkedIn, in posts that ironically get zero engagement.
Here's the contrarian truth Abbott understood that most people still don't:
People don't stop reading because copy is long. They stop reading because copy is boring.
There's a difference.
A massive, life-changing difference.
Now. I'm going to do something slightly embarrassing and tell you about myself.
I moved from the UK to the US a few years back.
And the number one thing people warned me about?
"Americans won't read your emails. They're too busy. Too distracted. Too caffeinated."
So naturally, being British, I ignored all of this advice completely and kept writing emails anyway.
Thirty years in business — construction, web design, MLM, Etsy stores — and you know what has consistently been the single best marketing tool across every single one of those wildly different industries?
Email.
Not TikTok. Not a fancy funnel. Not a $4,000 Facebook ad campaign that somehow only reaches people who already bought from you.
Email.
The problem — and I say this as someone who has written more emails than I've had proper cups of tea (which, as a British person, is a staggering number) — is that writing good emails is hard.
The blank screen is a villain.
You sit down. You've got something brilliant to say. You know your product changes lives. And then... nothing. Your brain goes quiet. The cursor blinks at you like it's personally offended by your existence.
That's why I built BOB.
BOB is software that writes emails, sales pages, ads, and other copy — for you.
Not generic, robotic, "Dear Valued Customer" nonsense either.
Real copy. Persuasive copy. The kind David Abbott would begrudgingly respect while sipping his tea (he was British too, coincidentally — perhaps there's something in the water).
You tell BOB what you're selling, who you're selling it to, and what you want them to feel. BOB does the rest.
No more blank screens. No more staring at a blinking cursor like it owes you money. No more "I'll write the email tomorrow" — which, as every business owner knows, is just a fancy way of saying "I'll lose the sale tomorrow."
Business owners and marketers ask me all the time:
"Aidan, how do you keep writing emails after 30 years without running out of ideas?"
Honestly? I use BOB now. And I'm not even ashamed about it.
David Abbott had a team of brilliant creatives around him. You've got BOB. Same energy, fewer egos, no one stealing your lunch from the office fridge.
The contrarian take — the one Abbott proved in the 1970s and I've proved across three decades and two continents — is this:
Email isn't dying. Bad email is dying.
Good email? Email that tells a story, makes someone laugh, earns their trust, and then — gently, confidently — asks for the sale?
That stuff works like it always has.
You just need the right tool to write it.

And if you're still not sure, consider this:
You just read over 600 words of an email about email.
Abbott was right. You read the whole thing.
Now imagine what BOB could write for your business.
— Aidan (30 years in business. 2 countries. 1 embarrassingly good email tool)
P.S. BOB doesn't take smoke breaks, ask for equity, or tell you your headline "needs more energy." He just writes.

I have nothing else to say. The End.
